These Rosemaling Christmas designs capture the beauty of this form of folk art from Norway. This is a stylized art form, consisting of C and S strokes, made in oils. I have worked hard to mimic how the brush strokes blend on the wood, and they are decorated with swirls, scrolls and flowing lines. There are also hellebores, snow covered pines leaves and cones, holly leaves and berries, as well as lilies. Not all of these designs are seasonal which increases options to combine and use them.
