Using many of the elements from the Jacobean designs in this collection I have created this Tree of Life, a common theme in Jacobean embroidery. It embroiders out in one hooping in the 360mm x 260mm hoop, but I have split it for the 300mm x 200mm hoop and also for the 240mm x 150mm with Outline alignment stitches and markers to help you successfully position each section. You will find 3 versions of the tree in this set, one detailed, one with a bird sitting on one of the branches and a simpler more open version which will stitch out in less time. These designs have many colour changes in them so proceed carefully and I advise using the same colours or similar ones for the same multi-coloured vibrant look when finished.
