This set contains just horizontal smocking panels, due to the amount of fabric which would need to be pleated, above the normal width of fabric. I have found that you need four to five times the amount of fabric for pleating. There are blank panels which you can customise. The dainty bullion roses stitch out perfectly on their own working well for heirloom projects.
