American Pride

America!!!!!!! Our pride runs deep. We have so many blessings, rights and privileges. Among our rights is freedom of speech. We are quick to use this to complain about everything from wars to gas prices. We are often not as quick to use this freedom to remember those that paid the price for our freedoms. No holiday is required to say Thank You to a Veteran. No holiday is required to salute our Flag. No holiday is required to get goose bumps when I hear the Star Spangled Banner. As Americans we have a responsibility to remember that we are a people from all around the world joined together as One Nation, Under God, conceived in Liberty and dedicated to the proposition that ALL men (And women) are created equal. "Created Equal" is not limited to Americans--it is global. Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness is not limited to our borders-it, too, is global. May God Bless America and extend our freedom worldwide.
