" Brother’s Island seems to be a universally important place for a lighthouse. California, USA has one, Egypt has one and so does New Zealand. Castle lights can be found in United Kingdom, Ghana, US, Bahamas, Denmark, Ireland and the Russian Federation. But Akaroa is strictly New Zealand. This light was disassembled and reassembled at it’s present location for all to enjoy Christmas holidays and Sunday afternoons."
