These are very delicate heirloom designs best embroidered in pastel colours. There is a lace element to many of the designs. To make the designs pop I have added some a couple of brighter colours.Some of the more open designs can be stitched out on tulle.I based some of the flowers on violas, Grass of Parnassus and the milkweed plant. Look out for the seedheads from the milkweed plant too!
