		"ALOHA!!!!!!!!!!!!! Many have requested these lighthouse designs but I only had one photo, then two, then I had them all. What a great way to remember that trip to the Islands. I was on Oahu for my 35th birthday. My mom went to Maui every summer. My favorite light?? Cape Kumukahi on the big island of Hawaii.. The lava erupted and took the light keepers home. The light keeper survived. The lava flowed toward the lighthouse but split and went around the base of the lighthouse never touching it—or the church in the local villiage. The locals have planted trees around the lighthouse and consider the ground sacred as Pele spared the lighthouse. The light was automated in 1960 as everything around the lighthouse was destroyed—EXCEPT THE LIGHTHOUSE” ENJOY, ELAINE
