The mats are about half the size of a regular placemat and quite a bit larger than our 5x7 mug rugs. The mini placemat accommodates a dessert plate and mug easily. The center is reverse appliqued and the background around the center is stipple quilted. The borders are applied while in hoop.

Roll up the mat and place it in a lunch bag. Given the right fabrics, these would make great teacher gifts, too.The design comes with detailed instructions (including photos) in pdf format.
