These lighthouse designs created from
photographs taken by Elaine Myers and her Husband on trips along the
Oregon coast.
This set for the 4x4 hoop contains 23
designs and instructions for use as FSL or on fabric.
A design set
should offer options. And this set does just that. A FSL doily with 10
petals or you could stitch it on fabric by simply skipping color two. When
stitching on fabric be sure to slide another piece of fabric under your
hoop before color four for a finished back. Not just 6 sides for your bowl
but 10 sides to choose from. AND the option to skip color two and sew the
designs on fabric for a fabric bowl. AND the doily center makes a perfect
matching coaster. OR use the lighthouses alone (color three) on a shirt or
matching napkins. I have found if I do not totally rinse out my Solvy, the
pieces have body, sew together with ease and remain more stable once the
bowl or doily is complete. Doily petals and bowl sides are different shape
and do not interchange. Imagine a wind chime of the petals or bowls sides
fluttering in the breeze. What a perfect way to announce to guests your
