Atlantic Coast Ligthouse Stamps

This set of 12 lighthouses includes an aptly named Bloody Point steel caisson light, a skeletal tower and cottage style screw-Pile lights. Hooper Strait is actually the second built to mark the channel as the first was swept away by a massive ice flow. Old and New Point Comfort are both still there on Chesapeake Bay. My personal favorite??? Seven Foot Knoll-Like a big cheese wedge clad in red steel. This was a must see on our trip.
