My name is Cindy and I live in Westlake, Ohio which is in Northeastern Ohio, close to Lake Erie. Cleveland is home of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Cleveland Indians and the Cleveland Browns! I live with my husband Leon and my little toy poodle Danielle. My daughter Angela and my grandson Kevin live about five minutes away. And my step son, Ryan and his wife, Marie live close by also.

I bought my first embroidery machine in 1999, a Deco 600 and that little machine still purrs like the day I brought her home. I was definitely hooked on embroidery, I couldn't get enough. Soon after, I wanted to embroider bigger designs, so I brought home my Artista 180. This is a combination machine, sewing and embroidery. And just last year, I bought my Ellageo, which has the 6x10 hoop. I love my toys, lol.

I started digitizing using PE Design, when I bought my Deco 600, and then graduated to Artista Software soon after that. I started giving away my digitized creations and a good friend of mine told me I should start my own business. In February, 2004, Starlight Dreams, LLC was born. I have always loved Jiminy Cricket and his famous song "When you wish upon a star ... your dreams come true" and I thought Starlight Dreams, that would be a perfect name for my business.

I truly enjoy this fascinating world of machine embroidery. I still am amazed when I watch embroidery designs stitch out in front of me, and I think, I created this with my own two hands.
