My name is Vivian. I am the creator and owner of the Rose Cottage Machine Embroidery Designs. The name "Rose Cottage" developed from my love of nature and a passion for growing roses. My Husband and I are both retired from the Army. I have an associates degree in Art From the George C. Wallace Jr. Collage. I begin the art of machine embroidery over 10 years ago. My husband is a professional photographer of over 40 years and works with me to provide most of my art subjects. My designs lean more toward the realistic than cartoon. 6 years ago we sold our small ranch in Texas and became full time RVer's. Traveling with my 8500 Brother machine , thread, supplies and computer works well for me. I am the "List Mom" for the Rose Cottage Yahoo list of nearly 5,000 members. I have taught free non software specific digitizing lessons on line for over three years through the Rose Cottage List..
