My love for sewing and embroidery has started a long time ago when I hand-sewed and embroidered first dresses for my Barbie doll. When I was about 12 I started to sew for myself. I have always put some piece of embellishment on my dresses, couldn't stand simple things but hand embroidery was too time-consuming for me in those days. When I first saw embroidery machine in one of the Burda magazines I was tempted. It took several years until I was able to buy my dear Pfaff 7570 but since then I got totally hooked. When I discovered embroidery on the internet and got my first home computer, I lost last remains of my free time. As anybody else, I downloaded freebies from the net and started with my first attempts in digitizing. I offered my designs for download first on Sherry DeRosia's site and then I set up my own website on one of the freesite servers. I never thought I could also sell my designs, I never felt good enough. But well-known digitizer Elsa Goussard from South Africa encouraged me to do so. It took time until I did but it happened and now I'm really happy I started. It brought more stress into my life as I still keep my main job and do embroidery just on evenings and weekends. As my head is constantly overcrowded with ideas most of which I'm not able to realize due the lack of time, it sometimes brings me hard moments. But it also brings a lot of joy to my life and one day I will concentrate on embroidery only and hopefully calm down a little:) In the meantime, I'm working hard to satisfy my dear customers and attract a new ones with quality designs that are thoroughly digitized and tested to bring joy and pleasure to their users. For the time being I had to put embroidery on the second rail (as we say here) since I became a happy mom of little wild girl. She takes all my time so my machines are gathering dust but you know what - she once saw one of the machines embroidering and I could hardly hold her at a safe distance, she wanted to get closer. Looks like I will have a successor:)
