My name is Riani and I am 50-something. I live in Pretoria in sunny South Africa. I have a wonderful and supportive husband in a second marriage. His love, understanding and support provides me with all the encouragement I need. I have two adult children and two beautiful granddaughters. I take care of my grandchildren during the afternoons. They are my other inspiration.

I have been sewing and doing needlework since I was about 4 years old. I always loved fabrics, lace, beads, yarns, ribbons, buttons and anything to do with sewing and needlework. I have a very large collection of all things fabric. My fabric collection is a treasure trove and I always manage to find something unique when sewing for the grandchildren. Gaby, the eldest, has a love for clothes and she likes to design her own. I have to realize her designs.  

I am qualified interior decorator and fashion designer and I love drawing. 

I bought my Husqvarna and software 6 years ago and immediately fell in love with digitizing and machine embroidery.

Enigma Embroidery is a home for totally original and unique designs. I put a lot of effort into the base design and into the graphics to ensure a professional looking and unique design that you can get with my guarantee for its originality.
