 Hello. I'm Patricia of Embroidery Connection. My husband and I live in the large city of Johannesburg, Gauteng,
in South Africa and we have two grown children. I've been interested in embroidery pretty much all my life! I still have a photo of when
I was 3 years old, working some embroidery, but I started digitizing eight years ago and do it full-time now. I'm exploring new and different
techniques all of the time, but Fur effect and shading is my favorite. I'm also working on my 2nd smocking book right now and hope to write
a book about machine embroidery techniques after that. I'd like to thank my friend and mentor, Lesley Turpin Delport for being there for me.
