Stephanie first
became interested in embroidery in 1997. And 12 years ago
started digitizing and her part time business, Designs 4 Africa,
was born.
She lives on a farm in the country and has been
married to Kobus for 29 years. She has 3 children, 1 lovely
daughter in law and 2 very precious grandchildren.
Stephanie
loves to learn new things through online courses, reading and
also enjoys sewing and knitting. She also enjoys being with her
family.
As for the growth of her business she would like to
learn more digitizing techniques and increase her customer base.
Also she is always striving to be professional and provide
excellent service to her customers. She loves any digitizing
technique and would like to explore more quilting techniques.
She says, “I always was an avid knitter, but never wanted to do
any sewing. When I was blessed with a daughter in 1988 after 2
sons, I suddenly wanted to make a dress! After buying my first
sewing machine and many sewing courses later, the Bernina 180
with embroidery module came out. As I am very interested in
computers, I definitely wanted this machine and the Artista
Embroidery software. Since then I never looked back. I love
digitizing and feel very privileged to have a work I am so
passionate about.”
