Calico Callie is owned and operated by Candace who lives in the Louisiana backwoods as she says.  She has 2 sons, Chriss, 23, and Ben, 17.

She has been digitizing for about 3 years and her business is part time.  She has other interests as well, fiber arts of any kind, beading and reading.  She enjoys her business and wants growth to be slow, but sure.  Her favorite technique is appliqué.

She has a fascinating story:  “Since I am WELL past the age to start having grandbabies, but neither of my sons seem to want to co-operate, I adopted a little furbaby named Callie. She's a 5 lb silver poodle and the love of my life. As grandmama's do, I wanted to spoil her rotten and started sewing little outfits for her. She LOVES to dress up! I got my first embroidery machine to decorate her little outfits, but kept having trouble finding just the right designs to use. So.....I learned to digitize so I could make my own. Now she's grown up and her closet is full, but I still keep digitizing. I love creating designs that your children or grandchildren will enjoy!”
