Visit A Diadem Of Beauty's Embroidery Site
 Hello, my name is
Zenaida and I own A Diadem Of Beauty.
I was born in the Republic of Panama in Central America. I have the privilege of being the mother of three loving young men.
As the wife of a member of the U.S. Armed Forces I had the opportunity to travel to several countries and I came to live in United
States by way of England. Now I have settled down to live in sunny Central Florida.
As a young girl, I always enjoyed designing and making my own clothes. Drawn by the love for colors, contrasts, and shapes, I would
dream occasionally of one day becoming a professional designer.
In 2001 I bought the Designer I and soon afterward I embraced the journey of creating embroidery designs to embellish my dresses, night
gowns, linens, children clothes, etc. I was living in Georgia at the time, and on more than one occasion, while doing my regular visits to the
fabric stores, I started to open my eyes to the new trend for the wearing of handmade handbags. Not finding a pattern for the handbags that would
suit my taste, I decided to create my own patterns. I conceived one pattern after another and I put them together to my amazement. In my opinion I
thought that they were so special that I decided I was not going to keep them to myself. To close the story, my handbags patterns were bought last
year by Simplicity Patterns, Inc. and I am currently waiting for them to print my pattern purses in their magazine.
As a result of this journey, a new website was born with the title:
"A Diadem of Beauty" in honor to the King. I am very happy to introduce it to you.
