Dear Jackie, I would like to share my story with you and all the members on the Mall. As you know I had lots of problems with my foot for the last year. After 2 unsuccessful operations the doctor told me that the only option now was a fusion of the ankle joint. I went for a second opinion. The second doctor told me that it was not the best option to have started with an operation and that he would rather have used radiation first and if necessary would have performed a bone transplant. He recommended that I wait 6 months before he was going to attempt the third operation. During this time I have to undergo intensive physiotherapy. I was in a lot of pain everyday. Every step I took was painful. My foot was swollen and I tried not to walk too much. We go to a small prayer group on Thursday evenings and we met a wonderful man there. After I told my story this man laid his hands on my foot and prayed for healing. After that we went home and to bed. The next morning I got out of bed limping to the bathroom as always not realizing that there was no more pain. Only during the day I realize that the pain was gone, there was no more swelling and I could actually jump and run! This is amazing, miracles still happen! People do not always realize the power of prayer. I did not go back to the doctor for tests because it is very expensive and I believe that God healed me!
